Guest Copy Cards may be purchased at Milner Library to be used in Milner's copiers, microfiche, and laser printers. If you have a Redbird Card (either faculty/staff or student), or a Department Copy Card, you do not need to purchase a Guest Copy Card.
Guest Copy Cards are sold in the cash-to-card machine located across from the Milner Circulation Desk.
If a Guest Copy Card has not been used for the past 18 months, it will be flagged as "Inactive" in the card system. A $5 per month inactive fee will then be charged until the card is either used or the balance is zero.
If you have any questions, please contact the Redbird Card Office.
Departments may purchase Department Copy Cards to be used in Milner Library, College of Business Computer Lab, and various campus computer labs for printing and making photo copies with departmental funds.
Call the Redbird Card Office and give the following information:
The Department Copy Card can usually be set up and printed in approximately 10 minutes. The card can be picked up and signed for at the front desk of the Redbird Card Office, on the second floor of the Bone Student Center.
The initial cost for the Copy Card is $8.
For all printing costs, the Redbird Card Office will send a receivables report to the Comptroller's Office at the end of each month. The account number provided by the department will automatically be charged for the total cost. The department does not have to complete an invoice voucher.
Departments need to keep track of the balances on their cards. For money deposited from General Revenue funds, refunds may not be given that cross fiscal years. Any Grants (Restricted) deposits that a department wants refunded must be approved by the Grants Department. Remaining Agency deposits can be handled any way the department specifies.
